Welcome to historic Waverley Road Baptist Church. We belong to the Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada, and maintain a fundamental and evangelical faith in the Bible as God’s inspired Word, and the truth of Jesus and His love.

Our church was founded as a Sunday School in 1889 by Mr. Philip Whitelock, with 17 children meeting in his home for Bible teaching (See Our History).

Today, we provide a ministry that blends traditional with contemporary worship, and emphasizes the clear and relevant preaching from God’s Word. We are committed to the evangelistic outreach to those living in the Beach area, and welcome people from other parts of our great city.
